My name is Mrs. Katie White and I am so excited for another great year in KA! I have been at SMM since 2014, and have been teaching in Catholic schools since 2002. Over the years, I have taught many grade levels and subjects, but kindergarten is my absolute favorite! I love being part of the early learning process and seeing the amazing connections that kindergarteners make every day.
I graduated with a BA in education and history from CWU (go Wildcats!) and earned a M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from Seattle U (go Redhawks!) In addition, I recently earned an endorsement in ENL, English as a new language, at the University of Notre Dame (go Irish!)
I live in Everett with my husband and our two sons. Our oldest is a seventh grader our youngest is a fifth grader, both at SMM. Some of my favorite things, in no particular order, are: dogs (we have three!), running, hiking, and books. When I am not in the classroom, I love to spend time in the mountains, at the beach, or in snow!
